Evergreen Leaves and 12.12.12
12.12.2012
12.12.12. dates like that won't come around for a while. the warm breezes today turn chilly by late afternoon. I froze my hands off trying to take pictures of the lights outside. I’m writing an essay for school on cleaning my room {yeah, that was not my mums idea, it was in the curriculum} and I’m to write it from different perspectives. I chose my point of view, a cats, and the windows….interesting right? writing does not come easily to me. I feel so much and have so many thoughts running through my mind. but when I try to put them in to words…it’s like trying to translate a language I don’t know. so I find other ways to capture them. my brush, pencil and camera are some of my favorites. but sometimes I wish I could use words.
so how do you capture your thoughts or feelings? pen, brush or both?
Pen and pencil. Usually pen (writing). I often have no idea how to write what I think, but I find that once I simply start writing, even if they are nonsense words at first, it all comes out eventually. Jumbled and messy, sure, but I end up with a clearer picture of what I am thinking.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures, absolutely stunning!
Thanks so much for your comment on my blog recently!
ReplyDeleteAh! Your blog is so lovely! I reaaaalllyy love the font/design you used on your first picture. Also, your pictures are really beautiful.
It's hard for me to write sometimes too. I find that I write better when it's creative writing such as poems or short stories or journal type writing rather than essays. It always takes me a while to write things to. Perhaps I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my school writings. :)
Anyways, I really like your blog. You have a new follower!
Blessings!
