Paintings from art class

I have been taking art class. Last month week studied watercolors! It was great.
Here are the paintings from each class.

 This picture's background was water colors with salt sprinkled though it while it was still wet. When the watercolors dried we rubbed the salt off. The salt soak up the watercolors, creating the funky effect.

We used the technique of bleeding the colors in to each other to create the water texture. We applied Art masking fluid were we wanted the bubbles to keep them white. Then took it of and gave them a bit of depth.  

This was the landscape technique. I started with the light back ground color(yellow) then add the darker colors.
